Giant Green Anemones
We've often found the Giant Green Anemone in large clusters in the tidepools along the Pacific coast of Washington, Oregon and California. These Anemones are closing as the tide recedes.

It's so much fun to run your fingers over them (gently) and see them close up. I don't know if they no longer say it's okay to do that, but I certainly remember doing it as a child.
