Dargun, Schloss
Das Schloss in Dargun ist aus einem Zisterzienserkloster (erbaut um 1172) hervorgegangen. Ab 1556 wurde es zu einem Renaissanceschloss umgebaut. Hier residierten zunächst die Herzöge von Mecklenburg-Güstrow, später die Herzöge von Mecklenburg-Schwerin. Im späten 19. Jh. wurde das Schloss renoviert, bevor es 1945 wegen eines Brandes zur Ruine wurde. Inzwischen ist die Anlage gesichert.
Während der Sommersaison finden Musikaufführungen (im Innenhof) und Ausstellungen statt.
Im wiederhergestellten Mittelrisalit befinden sich ein Informationsbüro zu Stadt und Schloss Dargun sowie die Stadtbibliothek.
Zum Schlosskomplex gehören noch ein Wirtschaftsgebäude, die Kirche, ein Teepavillon sowie der Schlosspark.

gerade entdeckt. wie es wohl dahinter aussieht. auch wenn es kein lost place ist, geben solche ruinen/gemäuer unendlch viele tolle bilder her. ich wäre da in den abendstunden, sicher oft anzutreffen..... .

Ich glaube, es besteht nicht die Absicht, es zu renovieren. Das Gebäude soll vielmehr in diesem Zustand erhalten bleiben.
