Hyster straddle carrier

This is a relatively small one and was for moving stacks of lumber, but straddle carriers are used in many other settings, such as shipping docks. On display at the county fairgrounds, Klamath Falls, Oregon, USA. The company was founded in Portland, Oregon, in the 1920s and by the 1940s was international: www.hyster.com/north-america/en-us/about/history
This would be a blast to drive around: www.youtube.com/watch?v=IccgeOmNsRc

Grain binder made by the International Harvester Co., 1920s. On display at the county fairgrounds, Klamath Falls, Oregon, USA. As with so many of these machinery manufacturers, their history is surprisingly complex:

Founded in 1966. The US and Israeli flags flying here are puzzling to me. This is a certified organic operation and they do sell milk to Kosher manufacturers, but the Israeli flag isn't the Kosher logo. One day I will visit the dairy again and ask about it! They don't seem to have a website, but here is some information about the dairy: www.dairyfarmersor.com/63-case-study-2-the-dehoops

A friendly and adorable cow at the Holland's Dairy. I think cows are peaceful and sweet.
