Red red

Red red
These are really a darker, velvety red, but you know how it is to photograph red... This closeup looks better than the previous shot.

Ernest CH, Pam J, Ulrich John have particularly liked this photo

these are blooming now? i am cold up here in portland.

i've started darkening my photos of red flowers to get a bit closer to those reds we love. but this still looks delightful as is.

found and enjoyed in 'naturey crap - crappy nature' - thanks for adding.

Yes, I have just a few blossoms on one plant and I'll have to bring it inside, soon, but I cover it every might until it gets below 30. I save it in memory of my dad, just because I bought one like it to plant in his yard right before he died. It's a pain to have this one and my big rabbit's foot fern in my living room all winter. The fern belonged to my grandmother and it's about 55 years old. I always have to kill earwigs for a couple of months...ew!

Anyway, I guess that's enough information for you - lol! Thank you, raingirl.
