Documenting my expertise in photography
Don't you love it when you mishandle your camera like a crazy person? I have begun to use my phone more as a camera. It's a low-grade smart phone. The problem is, the way I have to hold the phone is also the position that is most convenient for accidentally clicking off a shot. It's also a good way to accidentally flip it to selfie mode, so there are many hideous self-portraits to delete. (Sighhh) The most interesting is when it goes into "Blast" mode.
I am determined to stop using my phone as a camera unless I can afford a good one! Which I can't, so...I am trying to remember to put my mediocre real camera in my car more often.

Diane Putnam club has replied to Sami Serola (inactiv… clubI use my phone quite a lot for landscape photos..........it's a Huawei P20 (not the Pro, just the basic version)........it has a superb camera! I have it on contract, so it's not too expensive.
For some reason, when using the phone, I quite often take accidental photos of my feet..!!

Diane Putnam club has replied to slgwv clubStill, if I'm going to continue this phone-camera thing, I really should have a better phone!

I really like the G12/G16 but it is a bit big in a pants pocket and a heap more money.
I take some photos with my phone, a Microsoft 640 LTE. It's not a brilliant camera but is always available.
Using my first digital camera, which was retrieved from a rubbish bin, I took many videos of walking feet. :-)
Diane Putnam club has replied to GrahamH clubI remember my dad's first digital camera in the '90s. It was huge and took horrible photos. He kind of hated it (having always used Leica, Pentax, Nikon, etc.), but used it more as a toy. He was a real gadget guy. ;-)
