The Matterhorn of demolition

The Matterhorn of demolition
Pretty impressive pile, if you like this sort of thing...and I do.

Sami Serola (inactive), kiiti, Smiley Derleth, Ronald Losure have particularly liked this photo

Yes, it really looks like the Matterhorn! Well seen! Well, as far as I know it's not illuminated by a street latern, but otherwise it looks exactly like that. And, as we can see, the south route is very difficult to climb. :-)

I think you might make use of that strip of granite that looks like a road. Also, climbers are leaving way too much garbage up there!

In fact this is a big problem in the Himalaya region! Too much expeditions with a lot of garbage. If there would not be some NGO's that collect a lot of this garbage the mess would be much bigger. The local government is aware of it, but the do nothing. They only collect uge amounts for the permits.

I k now it - I've seen the photos! Disgusting! And that's not even counting all the corpses up there, which I find simply horrifying. It's really hard for me - lacking the climbing passion - to understand the justification for leaving them there. I guess I just don't want to know the people with a dog-eat-dog attitude.
