I held my camera to the window and clicked every few minutes, but didn't expect anything very interesting. More mystery than enlightenment! My one regret was that I was sitting on the wrong side to see Mt. Fuji and couldn't get to it fast enough to catch before entering a tunnel. It was a gorgeous sight from the space between cars!

Grim industrial works for me :)

Some other good shots from inside trains have apparently involved taking movies and then selective shots from the movie. I need to explore that trick..

You've hit the nail on the head, Steve. But, the view wasn't too great, mostly industrial all the way and a dark, overcast day. These look grim, which I like anyway and even enhanced. Thanks for the star.
