Ich war zwar draußen, aber die Färbeversuche mit den Naturfarben (hier Cochenille und Blauholz) sind wesentlich erbaulicher als die grau in grau Fotos von draußen.

Lovely strong deep colours. I used to dye cloth a lot. It got used for patchwork and applique. Dyeing was great fun and I liked using silk paints too and sprinkling with salt.

How cool is that?! I love this! The colors are wonderful and your experiment intrigues me! Funny, Steve has been doing experiments too, but with stains on wood for some things he's been making for our RV! :) Fascinating, isn't it?
