Die Alte Bischofsburg beherbergt heute das Ostprignitzmuseum und das in Europa einzigartige Museum des Dreißigjährigen Krieges.
Das Foto ist eine meiner ersten Aufnahmen mit einer Digitalkamera (SONY Cybershot DSC S70) und ich hatte es vor Jahren schon einmal veröffentlicht. Nun habe ich es noch einmal überarbeitet.

Ja, Fred, Baubeginn der Burg war 1244. Die Bischöfe von Havelberg lebten hier von 1271 bis 1548 und bauten die Burg zu ihrer Residenz aus. Bis zum Dreißigjährigen Krieg (1618 bis 1648) war die Burg uneinnehmbar.
