Stepping out in, Sartene

Stepping out in, Sartene
An afternoon trip to the mountain village town of Sartene near Propriano brings us to these narrow backstreets, always photogenic to me with these characteristic steps and balconies. Somewhat cooler than the hot squares too.

Nice full screen.

aNNa schramm, Corinne Queme, Gabi Lombardo, John FitzGerald and 12 other people have particularly liked this photo

You'd have to get on well with the neighbours there!

Aye, you need some shade as it was hot when we were there, still early in June. You would have to be o friendly terms as you say.

A nicely composed image Herb.............the steps lead us nicely from the shadows to the light at the top. I love the way you can see how the footfall over the years has worn and shaped the stonework.

You'd definitely need to have good neighbours living in this close proximity! A delightful shot sir!

I liked these steps but I did not have the time to go up them Keith. The light and shapes were the attraction as were the overhanging balconies.
