HFF - Anybody for a boat ride?
Another Loweswater fence shot for you here. In fact this is the same fence as in my last HFF offering (see Pip). This view west, towards our west coast beyond the hills has none of the exciting high vistas as can be seen to the other end behind me but I think you will agree that it is quite agreeable all the same.

It's very agreeable Herb. It looks so peaceful and the water looks beautiful. Nice framing with the tree branch along the top. Good to see the PiP of the other side of the fence again. HFF.

Ah, the other side of the same inviting fence, this time with a waiting boat as a bonus! I love the green and brown tones in these landscapes, Herb, an element I could not help but miss a little in the sepia version.

I agree with you. Sometimes you might turn around and take shots 180º from other snappers! Maybe the light is better, or there is some aspect or other, other than the touristically obvious, that catches ones eye ...

Composition is just as important as light for me Andy as you know. Like you, I think, I often take one photo of something that takes my interest and then I always scout around for better or different views, often finding them rather unexpectedly
