Our first full chance to relax before seeing our accommodation. Here we are at our local beach of Cecina with a sight that we would never ever see back home in Britain. Matched sun-umbrellas and chairs all lined up in an orderly fashion. Of course, demonstrating that certain Italian flair of matching harmony with nature.

Very well matched! I always thought there was a charge to enter a beach in Italy...or is that just some beaches? With the weather as it is now, I can't wait to get to the Dorset coast :-))

Hi Rosa. We did get some funny looks from the attendants here as we walked a good stretch of the beach, mostly by the water itself. The main area, where we started from, was certainly free but as you say, this little bit may have been different. Glad you liked it. Today, as temps rise above the 30C mark, any beach would be packed especially after yesterdays C19 easing announcements. For us, and you I think, we are still taking care and hesitating to venture to such places, preferring today to laze around on our garden loungers in the shade of our trees listening to the birds.
