A Rhodes fence

A Rhodes fence
Autumn 2019 and we are walking the old town of Rhodes. Every turning reveals another glimpse of history and interest. Here at the edge of the harbour is a closed small room, built into the wall. Do the step outlines show an old stairway or some kind of geometric pattern? A fence stops us from exploring further but it only raises more questions.

Hi Andy. They most certainly did not. Infact the name comes from the ancient Greek Rhódon (rose). Doubt they play cricket on there too. Its all food for thought though :)

I can imagine that things might be hectic Jose. Some things are like that here too, but my wife and I are keeping ourselves to ourselves and so things are quite for us personally.

A wonderful composition, Herb. You used the fence, grill, steps, arch and shadows to form a beautiful geometrical abstract. The colors also work beautifully together. Bravo!
