String of Pearls Galaxy NGC55 Or Whale Galaxy

String of Pearls Galaxy NGC55 Or Whale Galaxy
The first real result in Nina. the only snag I have hit and cant figure out why the mount is not flipping over to the other side at meridian. The two night that this ran I had to stop and restart after the time 12:15 am had passed so it set up correctly as the auto flip did not work. We think one of two things the set limits for the flip to happen where not being picked up, so I have redone them manually the setting of the limits. Cable snag but I don't believe so as there is enough cable now there is even more. Ps the setting of the limits manually the mount flipped correctly.

This in a shot for Ko and the next Galaxy.

thank fully those glitches have been over come and thing are working as they should . I woke up to tonight's flip had already completed, Nina seems a better way to go than SGP apart from the rotation problem but once I get a few more night under my belt I will try and work out why, if i can.

Many thanks some of the smaller fainter targets tonight is even fainter than this galaxy I hope that the net result is worth the time . It is part of the learning curve.

A beautiful shot that shows this Galaxy in the way that we like to see them. This is a big difference to my star attempts but shows what can be done with persistence and skills like yours.

Again, very well done. Herb

Herb space has always fascinated me I always wanted to take photos of space I did not know it was going to be such a learning curve. Wide field is easy and some thing I enjoy shows me how grounded I really am. space I always wanted to show them with some quality know my first efforts they did not really measure up.

some thing to think on learn some thing new keep your mind active. Nina has been so far a pleasure to use, good teacher and some skill already with nina but it makes sense the way its put together. I keep trying to get better by small degrees. Many thanks and glad you like this.
