Leucistic squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis)

Leucistic squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis)
Special thanks to Pam Johnson for explaining that this is not an albino, but an example of leucism.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leucism

The squirrel has recently been eating the sunflower seeds that I put out for birds and other squirrels.

Thank you very much, Pam. I had never heard of this condition, but of course I have seen white cats that may have been leucistic. I wonder if my dog Branco would qualify. Maybe even myself, since I have un-pigmented spots on my skin.
