The story of a mushroom.

The story of a mushroom.
The short life of a mushroom (its poison did not protect it).
Added: Many thanks to Annalia S. who pointed out that this mushroom is not poisonous as I had stated incorrectly.

. . .. Please view all 3 PiPs.

. . . Thank you very much for your kind visit.

ColRam, Janet Brien, Annalia S., Christel Ehretsmann and 38 other people have particularly liked this photo

Through the website: I click on the "Upload" button at the top and then choose the file on my computer to upload, click on the filename that is now displayed on the Ipernity upload window, set "Who is permitted to view this" to "Only me (private", then upload the file. Once uploaded, I add the title, description, any PiPs, then change "Authorizations/Who can see this photo" to "Everyone". then I check that both "Who can add keywords, notes" and "Who can identify people" are set to "Only me" (they are always already set to "Only me" because they are set in the Account settings.) I don't know if "Who can identify people" works or not as no one has ever used that to identify any people or insects for that matter.
I apologize, Frank, for bothering you with this, but I thought I should point it out as it looked like something is wrong. It doesn't matter too much to me, so if this only happens to me but works for everyone else (as it appears to do), then it probably is not worth taking your time to get to the bottom of the problem.

Kein Sorge.

This mushroom is not poisonous (at least for humans) and actually considered one of the best tasting ones. Mr. Squirrel seems to concur :D

NoooooooOOOOOooo!!! YOU NAUGHTY SQUIRREL!!! LOL, and didn't you get super pictures of its demise. Obviously it knew which was not poisonous. Me? I would never ever risk it, tyvm. There is the allure of foraging for food in the wild but ya know...a trip to the emergency room or WORSE...not worth it.

Great pictures to show this story! I just love your photography so much.

Hey...wanna say thank you for your gentle shake to get me back to my routine...I'm feeling so much better! :)

Thanks to Annalia S. I stand corrected. However, squirrels apparently are not bothered by poisonous mushrooms:

Janet is absolutely right, too. Never ever eat a mushroom unless you are an experienced mushroom hunter and are absolutely sure you can ID it. I should have added this caution to my comment.
