Christlicher Garten in den Gärten der Welt, Berlin-Marzahn
Der Erholungspark Marzahn liegt in Berlin-Marzahn am nördlichen Fuß des Kienbergs und wurde am 9. Mai 1987 anlässlich der 750-Jahr-Feier Berlins als Berliner Gartenschau und Geschenk der Gärtner an die Hauptstadt der DDR eröffnet. Damit sollte er dem Britzer Garten der 1985er BUGA in West-Berlin entgegengesetzt werden. Im Zusammenhang mit den angrenzenden frei zugänglichen Erholungsflächen des Kienbergs und dem direkt östlich anschließenden Wuhletal ergibt sich eine Gesamtfläche von über 100 Hektar. Betrieben wird der Park von der Grün Berlin GmbH, einer Gesellschaft des Landes Berlin, die auch weitere Gärten und Parks betreibt.

In 1991, the park was renamed to Erholungspark Marzahn. In October 2000, the Chinese garden is opened as a part of Gärten der Welt (Gardens of the World).
