Almost time for the harvest

I love the wispy cumulus clouds, Amelia. The colour contrast between the warm golden colour of the crops and the cool blue of the sky is very effective. I read in the Wikipedia article, to which you provide a link, Rodney's Pillar is a guide to navigation for helicopter pilots. Do you navigate by this landmark, when you are in your private helicopter? LOL. All the best, Joe

I ditched my helicopter a few years ago, and replaced it with a Harrier jump jet. Unfortunately the locals, who were only jealous, complained about the noise, so I now have several gliders and a Lamborghini which is used as a tow, and then to get me back home from wherever I have landed. LOL

Two really beautiful agricultural images Amelia.............both look wonderful in the sunshine.

I especially like the gorgeous cloudage in the main image and the front to back sharpness of both images.
