Striking image - Man's attempt to put up an immoveable object to compete with the irresistible forces of storms, tides and the sea.
Unless you have the right design of, and unlimited funding for, sea defences - my money is going to be on the sea !

Not an easy coast to defend but makes a very interesting image, well captured.

It looks like these defences are waiting for some work to be done.............but like this well composed and nicely detailed image.
