Years ago, while I was visiting my parents, my mother took me to a place called Renda, not very far from where they lived. It was several houses, not really a village yet, all abandoned years ago. Some roofs had already crumbled, nature already had begun to reclaim the territory. Doors and windows, where still present, were open, so we ventured inside the small houses. Piles of furniture, dirt and, well, stuff, were everywhere. It almost seemed, that whoever had lived here, had left this place…

 I'll be in Barcelona for a few days next week. Unfortunately, my free time will probably be limited to a few hours in the evenings (or even only on one evening) - so, does anyone have any hints where to go, what to see, what to shoot, if you only have a few hours?

Kennt irgendjemand einen Photoshop Filter (oder irgend ein anderes, halbwegs automatisches Tool) welches folgenden Effekt erzeugen kann?   Does anyone know of a Photoshop Filter (or any other, more or less automatic, tool) which can produce the following effect?    

Now it's getting real. I just imported all my flickr pictures here, and I will delete them on flickr later... even if it takes a little time to get used to this, I am unwilling to give flickr my content for free and get pissed off in return...

After some days of feeling really, really disappointed about the loss we all had with flickr / censr, I looked around a little - and found quite a few of my flickr contacts here. I will move here soon and start posting new pictures here.
