My friends have probably noticed that I like ambient music. Years ago I used to listen to it on SomaFM. Then I discovered SoundCloud, and started to collect and listen my own playlist there. But now SoundCloud has also started to harash people with advertisements. Currently they only advertise their own paid plans, but probably it is the first sign of them to get rid of the "free riders". Just as we have done here at ipernity.
I have nothing against paid services, if the quality meets the price. But since I already pay for services like Netflix, I just can't afford to pay "few bucks" more per month for number of services. I only wish that the price would be a little lower... And now that SoundCloud is putting a price tag on their services, I then rather consider other obtions.
So, I returned to SomaFM, where their Groove Salad is my favorite dish. I even donated them some money thanks to all the years they have managed to keep their service open.
I also discovered Deezer again giving three months free Premium plans, which I immediately supbscribed to.
