The Teresa ALVAREZ last book, dedicated "to those who turn words into ammuniton", is organized in "fragments", as if they were the shrapnel of all Ukrainian wars in the world, the destruction, the death, the suffering, the inexplicable aberration that persists in the 21st century a mantle of fear covering the humanity destiny.
And amidst the bitterness and war uncertainties, on the "twenty-third day", " a man and a woman love each other" and, "they decide that afternoon not to die".
Hope that love can still balance the civilization that is being lost, without understanding why, nor for what purpose, or the disappointment of those who live without capacities to reverse the current situation.
Maybe a false hope, as the book closing explains: " the spider went through the poem and never again believed in the web's ingenuity".

E por entre a angústia e as incertezas da guerra, ao "vigésimo-terceiro dia", "um homem e uma mulher amam-se" e, "decidem naquela tarde não morrer".
Esperança de que o amor possa ainda equilibrar a civilização que se vai perdendo, sem se perceber porquê, nem qual o objectivo, ou a desilusão de quem vive sem poder reverter o rumo da situação.
Talvez uma falsa esperança, como o encerramento do livro esclarece : "a aranha percorreu o poema e nunca mais acreditou no engenho da teia".
