This week I've had a little money luck. I won £30 on the lottery. Not life changing lol, though every little helps. I also won the main prize on the work's raffle. There was wine, whiskey, an air fryer and so on. I won the big prize. It's the most expensive prize I've ever won - £79.99 for this item on Amazon - and also the most useless! It's a rather nice looking pedal go-kart suitable for 2 - 4 years old. Marvelous! I'm now trying to sell it, for less than half price. If I can't sell it, I'll see if one of the local charity shops want it so long as they collect it; I can't carry it into town. Honestly, you'd think they'd have age-appropriate prizes as not everyone has young children or grandchildren.

This week in work I only managed to get 15 minutes of overtime. Orders are down; this is usual at this time of year with people going away, orders have been capped due to training new drivers, and we have some student transfers too so not much work to go around. I've also been told by the manager that there's no chance of extra hours to my contract whilst orders are so low. D*mn! Hope it picks up soon...

Funny thing in work: a rather nice-looking man pulled up alongside my trolley and offered to race me. Funny! I apologised, stating I had to get something in this aisle, but maybe another time? lol

Also, a little girl was tired so her Mum tried to get her on her back, but the girl had her hands around her throat. I told her she wasn't allowed to strangle her Mummy in the store which she thought was hugely funny. They make me smile sometimes.

Two days off now, thank goodness. Work has been okay, though my feet are killing me. I'm going to see how much a foot massager is. I fancy a tall, dark-haired one... LMAO. Seriously, those wooden foot rollers look 'interesting.'

Take care, have a good week ahead.
