Melvin Endsley wrote and recorded "I Like Your Kind of Love" in 1957. This is the composer of "Singing the Blues", "Love Me To Pieces" and "Knee Deep in the Blues".
The Andy Williams and Peggy Powers cover of "I Like Your Kind of Love" recorded on Archie Bleyer's Cadence label was released the same year. This version hit the Billboard top ten.
