John Ritter's (Three's Company) father and grandfather to Jason (Parenthood) and Tyler (The McCarthys), Tex (Woodward) Ritter hit with "(I Dreamed Of A) Hillbilly Heaven" in 1961. The release hit top five on the Country chart and top top twenty pop. Like Roy Rogers and Gene Autry, Tex Ritter was a true movie, trelevision and recording star.
