Uig on the Isle of Skye, On a stormy September afternoon the Calmac Ferry M/V "Hebrides" loads ready to sail to the Outer Hebrides. She was built in Glasgow in 2000. One of only four ferry services from the mainland to the entire Western Isles. Image was taken from distance through the wind and rain, HFF and a dry weekend

Loch Eribol and the isthmus to Ard Neakie and it's four Lime Kilns with quarry situated behind the jetty, All constructed around 1880, Despite the overcast day the light was rather appealing, In 16.9 format so a Large view is strongly recommended! Uploaded for the "North Coast 500 Group"

A crew member holds the boat while the other crew member has walked ashore to fetch the tractor and trailer which is the only means of getting the boat on to dry land, This is taken from the breakwater wall at Port Logan on the firth of Clyde, formerly Port Nessock, a small village in the parish of Kirkmaiden in the Rhins of Galloway in Wigtownshire. SS Sir Walter Scott is a small steamship that has provided pleasure cruises and a ferry service on the picturesque Loch Katrine in the scenic Trossachs of Scotland for more than a century, and is the only surviving screw steamer in regular passenger service in Scotland. Built by Denny's at Dumbarton in 1900 she has a length of 1010 feet (34 m) and a grt of 115 tons, HBM and a large view if possible please!

A View out of the loch across to the Island of Scarba, with the northern point of Jura and the Isle of Mull in the far distance ! Wish you a nice Friday and a good weekend,,,,,,,,,,, Much better viewed large in my opinion!

Seating more likely used by the fishing community than by visitors, This is Carradale Harbour on the East Coast of Kintyre, With the herring industry thriving, the first pier was built in 1858. However, the fishing here now is mainly shellfish. But through the haze and in the distance the tanks of a Kilbrannan Sound fish farm can be seen. HBM and a good week to all !

Another image from the archives and another from Elgol on the Isle of Skye, The Black Cuillin Range as a backdrop to Loch Scavaig and Allt Port na Cullaidh is the watercourse flowing across the beach, The photographer on the outcrop on the right gives a size perspective.. I think it's better large..

Flowing into the North Minch this is an 8 mile long narrow Sea Loch on the east coast of the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides Large for detail please. HFF and a good weekend but please continue to take care. I will hopefully be fully back to normal IP service after the weekend.
