A typically damp day in Glencoe, and a view of the "Allt Coire nam Beitheach" watercourse as it tumbles down from the valley between the mountains. This is captured from the bridge over the River Coe at Achnambeithach,
The cloud covered mountains are "Stob Coire nam lochan (1115m) on the left and "Stob Coire nam Beith" (1107m) on the right,
HFF and a lovely weekend,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Large view recommended!

The watercourse tumbling down into the valley is a bit of a tongue twister, "Allt Coire nam Beitheach" and it flows into the River Coe just out of shot on the right, this is captured at Achnambeithach Glencoe,
Although it was mid-May and the sun was shining, snow still lingered at the top
A large view is in my opinion necessary for details. Depending on how large you are able to view but sure-footed sheep are dotted all over the landscape even close to the top!
Wish you all a great Friday and a nice weekend.

The River Coe rises at the north-eastern base of Buachaille Etive Beag in Scotland and flows west along Glen Coe. After dramatic waterfalls at the Pass of Glen Coe, it runs through the small Loch Achtriochtan before it turns north-west. It then runs past the site of the Massacre of Glencoe and passes through Glencoe village, shortly before flowing into the sea loch of Loch Leven, (Wikipedia)
A large view may be enjoyable

River Coe leaves Loch Achtriochtan at Achnambeithach where the watercourse "Allt Coire nam Beitheach" tumbles down the gully and joins the river, all the high ground has cloud cover.
Recommend a large view.

The water tumbling down into the River Coe is Allt Coire na Ba which feeds into the River Coe as it runs beneath the bridge and down into Loch Leven.

Looking across Loch Leven at low tide as the October evening mist starts to form, the distant bridge marks the point where the River Coe ends its tumble down the glen.

In the right weather this makes a great work place for a Glencoe warden however when this was taken a full scale mountain search and rescue was taking place in the glen with both military and civilian mountain rescue teams from all over the west coast arriving and crossing the bridge to the control point on the far side,
Search and rescue helicopters were flying overhead but apart from an occasional glance up she just carried on painting, seen it all before I guess.
Sadly as far as I am able to ascertain months later the climber is still unaccounted for.**************** As an Update, 2 more lives were lost in the glen yesterday16.01.16 when bodies of two climbers were recovered by the Glencoe mountain rescue team,********************
