Die Passatwolken drücken von Nordosten gegen den Gebirgszug Cumbre Nueva und schwappen wie eine Welle über den Kamm. Ein Stück unterhalb lösen sich sich wieder auf. Dieses Naturschauspiel wird auch Cascada de nubes - Wolkenkaskade genannt.
