gut gesehen, Wilhelm! Das Phänomen sieht man bei uns in der Regel ja nur im Hochgebirge. Die feuchte Luft erwärmt sich, wenn sie nach unten fließt, und der Nebel verdunstet dabei. Es kann sein, dass es auf der Luv-Seite regnet. Dann wird es auf der Leeseite wärmer (Fön).

Ja, die Wolken bewegen sich und während sie nach unten sinken, lösen sie sich auf. Auf La Palma gab es häufig Kontrastwetter, auf der Ostseite Wolken mitunter mit Regen und auf der Westseite wolkenfrei, sonnig, trocken und warm.
