Home…HFF
This is Paddy’s Park, in Strathnairn, Canberra. Our house sits facing it, just across a street. It has lots of open space, BBQs, an adventure playground, cricket nets, basketball court and a small lake/ wetland complete with ducks and waterfowl.
In the centre left is a dark fence, inside which a primary school,is under construction. In the background centre and left is a huge area of reserve bush land with a network of walking trails heading down to the Murrumbidgee River. We consider that moving here 4 years ago from the other side of the country was a wonderful thing.

It is a public park so they do use sprinklers. Saves us having a lawn! Very dry around perimeter of the area, though, Graham

I love the reflections in the water Diana. It looks and sounds like a good place to live and it must definitely have been worth all the upheaval of moving.. Nice that there is so much going on there and yet it all looks so open and inviting.
