From Chairman Mao in Kashgar, Xinjiang, China. In November last year. He still has pride of place here! The old bicycles have been replaced by super fast electric motor scooters. One needs to be very cautious when proposing to cross a road!

I love the diagonal street bollards. Electric scooters are a danger here too. They go so fast and are silent. The riders are not always pedestrian aware.
