At Finnish block of flats there's usually a laundry and drying room for residents to use. In the drying room there are large fans to circulate warm air in the space.

Interesting drying room Sami .....I put my washing outside makes them fresh but of course not everyone can !!!

Unfortunately so. One option is of course tumble drier, but even that can be impossible (no space or room) or too expensive to some (especially students).

It is usual here ;-) Tumble driers are of course quite common nowadays, but these drying rooms have become also common arrangement in Finnish block of flats.

Here in Tampere region the climate is quite dry, especially in the winter. So, we are actually drying our daily laundry inside. But every now and then we use that drying room to dry blankets and so on.
