Well, I first did planned to use another camera and my mobile phone as a remote control =D

But then that picture in picture made with mobile phone selfie camera turned out as more important to achieve, and I had no way to get remote control for the my cell phone ;-)

This picture is just fabulous and clever made and a real eye-catcher, which puzzled me a while and made me thought, how such a thing can even work. ;-) Really a fantastic work by you, Sami! I tried to refer to whole mobile phone selfie phenomena, where people do crazy things like kill themselves when taking selfies "blindly" in dangerous places ...

how did you achieve the white background for your arm holding the phone?

One wall is painted red, when others are white ;-)

It gives an interesting contrast for the space, but also nice effect for photographs:
