Copying the great idea from Frank J Casella, I do the same, and use an image to "advertise" my blog article.

If you have troubles to understand the copyright, see if my blog article Copyright is tough, but it tries to be fair... would help. There are of course a lot written about copyright, but it is tough to find a simple list on how it works in different cases. On that article of mine the main point is to give a link to Copyright rules by subject matter available at Wikimedia Commons.
