Unsharp mask is an interesting effect to play with. Just as is almost any effect when heavily exaggerated.

Oh wow! That's super cool!! And I love the comments between you and taon. He/She is a master with this sort of thing, and I think your efforts are fantastic too! I agree, sometimes the hardest thing is DECIDING on an effect, because there are so many interesting ones! Love the stained glass appearance here. Great fun and a total success!

Thank you very much Janet =) I think taon is he =D I have learned much from him. Just as I have from you, and from many other inspiring photographers.

EDIT: BTW, this trick to use 'unsharp mask' I learned from a person who I knew at My Opera community. You may find her on web under nickname Mimi's Mum.

thanks a lot for this compliment, my friend !
indeed, if i've seen right, i'm a "he"... :-)))
and yes, there are so many effects, and it's not just easy to decide which one to use, the WAY to use them is another issue... ;-)
being curious, being in love to experience, this makes us able for progress in our thinking and processing...;-)

Well said, and that is why I'm happy to be an amateur photographer =D Although, I'm sure even a professional photographer can keep on with the curiosity and love to experience new things. And that is what I try to do on my everyday work, to reach that same passion I put into this hobby of mine.
