Good observation. The window was closed. This is a view from a hotel in Helsinki, and it was built for Moscow 1980 Olympics. The idea at that time was to accommodate Olympic tourists even as far as here in Finland.

But one spider there was! Luckily my arachnophobic wife spotted it in next morning =D Otherwise we both would have had no sleep at all. Sari staying awake worrying whether there are more of them, and keeping me awake asking to check every damn black spot on the walls.

I could not guess in what hotel and in which part of Helsinki, I think I see vaguely the tower of the railway station, nice picture

At least it can't be the tower of railway station because that is to the right from this direction of view, and much closer to Original Sokos Hotel President and Kamppi.
