Always good to see a hanging mist scene Rosa. Very difficult to get just the right exposure though as there is such a wide range of brightness here. That is where HDR comes in. - Well done.

The mist and lovely light make this image very atmospheric Rosa,...........I really like the contrasting shadow of the trees and shrubs in the foreground, and also that lovely old lamp.

I like the subdued colour palette as well..........with just a hint of blue and maybe pink in the sky!

In reality it looked much better and more atmospheric than in this shot Keith. I wasn't going to upload it, but I thought the lamp saved it :-)

It's like a mirage!!!! the effect is successful!!!!
(Sometimes, especially in the morning, when driving on country roads, the fog banks and the sun are in competition and it gives a nice natural spectacle like the one in your photo!!!!!)

A very nice picture, which I like very much!
Wonderful and interesting subject.
Many years ago I was driving towards Bala on a clear and very cold night, with a full moon. I could see all the road plainly for a few miles as I came down into the valley..
Then suddenly I was in thick fog, just like this.
By some optical process which I still don't understand, the fog was invisible to me until I was in it!

Lovely layers of very subtle colour. Our turn for freezing fog was yesterday, which together with a fatal accident on the nearby A5, caused chaos in our village as it was part of the diversion.
