The Market House ~ Castle Cary
The Market House in Castle Cary, Somerset was surprisingly built in 1855 and is a listed building. Markets are still held there weekly. It also houses the Museum and town offices. I have added a few pictures of shop windows in the small town, displaying their tributes to our late Queen and a front view of the Market House.

Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Jaap van 't Veen clubIt's lovely to see the tributes to our late Queen in the shop windows, there's little of that here in Havant, sadly.
Super work as always Rosa.
Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Keith Burton clubHonestly Keith I could have put more than double the pictures of tributes in the small shops of Cary. We just stopped off on the way to taking Sophie home, and I am so glad we did. Thank you again for your generous comments.

Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Ulrich John clubI wonder how many of our Transatlantic friends would be puzzled by your reference to '... the surprisingly built in 1855 ...' ?? I know that it was a fashion then to build in a gothic style from 500 years earlier. But to Americans, 1855 probably seems ancient too!

A very nice picture, which I like very much!
Wonderful and interesting composition
You almost managed to get the bollards to line up with the pillars!
Great colours in the flowers and flags
Of course a memory of the day for other reasons too.
Best Wishes, (slightly late) HWW, a nice week ahead, and stay safe!!
Peter
Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Peter_Private_Box clubI hadn't noticed the bollards almost lining up! Thanks
for pointing it out! The town did our late Queen proud.
Best wishes,
Rosa.
