Very well composed with the path leading us straight to the entrance of the church. It's a beautiful old building...........and the bell tower is magnificent. Lots of nice detail here.....the moss on the roof of the tower, the sheep statues, the lush green of the grass with just hint of snow remaining and the beautiful clock.

Yes and it snowed heavily a few hours later :-))

Now that is a fine church tower Rosa, even a bit of snow thrown in for good measure. Not many wooden structures of this age around nowadays.

It really is a beauty Herb. We spent ages inside the tower, which was pretty amazing as well. A good job we visited this village first as we wouldn't have made it there after the snow arrived.

A wonderful building I've not seen a church with a bell tower, there is a carillon at Loughborough that's mainly brick a WWI memorial. I like the lawn mowers :)) i hope you have had a [leasant day Rosalyn Good night
