Excellent colour contrast, Rosa. The figures in all three photographs are perfectly placed in the respective frames to make the composition very interesting. I have the novella 'On Chesil Beach' on my Kindle, but I haven't got round to reading it yet. Cheers, Joe

A wonderful series from this place Rosa. The light on the water in the main shot is superb and the lone angler serves to emphasise the vastness of sea and sky. The perspective in the first PiP and the diminishing figures highlight the great length of the beach very nicely. Somebody is taking a great interest in the wave action in the last PIP.

Thank you for your kind comments Doug. I think the young lady in the last picture was trying to keep cool! It's a very dangerous, shelving sea. Really good for anglers though.

Three cracking shots of this wonderful beach Rosa...........it's been a good few years since I was there last!

The main image is wonderful............the sunshine is gorgeous and I love the sky and the silvery light reflected on the water. Great contrast between the water and beach and the lone fisherman anchors the shot nicely.

The image in the first PiP gives a great sense of just how big Chesil beach is, but until you've been there, you really have no idea! It's lovely to see people out enjoying themselves and they're no problem with social distancing there :-))

Thank you very much Keith. I like the stretch at Abbotsbury the best as it's easier to walk on than the huge pebbles near Portland. You're right always plenty of room there! We were going to walk to The Fleet and nature reserve, but didn't quite get around to it ;-)
