A walk in the Forest.
A lovely forest around King Alfred's Tower, where these pictures were taken. In the first PiP I was having trouble focusing on the leaf, maybe because the light was too strong, but this is how it came straight from the camera. Maybe you can have too much bokeh!! Let me know what you think. The second PiP is how I hoped it would look.

Getting closer and using manual focus would have helped I think, and maybe using a wider aperture.
I like the second PiP too. The light on the leaves is lovely.

Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to William Sutherland clubTake care and have a good day.
You have captured the path veering gently left as an excellent counterpoint to the branches veering right and the light between them meshes everything together beautifully anchored by the perfectly positioned upright trunks!
The PiPs ain't half bad either!
Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Andy Rodker clubRosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Peter Castell clubI felt it was too much bokeh. I had hoped it would be gentler, but the strong sunlight was shining through, so I should have guessed. On aperture mode, it kept almost focusing and I tried to lock it but no luck there. Thank you for your helpful tips and kind comments.
Cheers, Herb

Non technical advice from me, sorry, I'm not good at it!
But I can tell you that even though there may be too much bokeh in the first pip, the three images make a delightful series...you feel you are in the forest, with its light, green shades and even smells!
Take care, dear friend.
