The water looks a bit cold for having a dook, Rosa.

I have left a message and a couple of links for you here.

Cheers,

Joe

The silvery-grey light on the sea is is gorgeous and I love the glittery look to it. The silhouetted swimmer adds a nice bit of interest in the foreground (even though he or she must be mad) and I like the cruise ship with the smoke coming from the funnel. Just the barest hint of colour along the horizon. Beautifully captured Rosa.

I love the image in the PiP too - the details are spot on and I love the colours.

Yes the swimmer must be mad Keith! He wasn't even shivering when he came out of the water! I noticed even the dogs weren't too keen! Four of the cruise ships had smoke coming from their funnels. It seems very strange to see so many in the bay.

Thank you for your kind comments on the PiP. I love that sort of thing, and knowing how far away places are :)

Some brave soul defying age and the cold but I bet he/she was glowing warm once out of the water and dried down. The cruise liner looks inviting but I will be giving those a miss if ever the opportunity arises.

Yes he was rather glowing when he got out of the water Maurice. Cruises are not my thing, but I do feel sorry for them at this time.

A wonderful image Rosalyn, but it shows how we all see things differently I would have cropped the bottom third off, to me the photo is about the wonderful sky and the ship

Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Peter Castell club
I wouldn't have shown it without the swimmer Peter. It was him that I found most interesting. I almost cropped it to just the swimmer ;-) Good to have your thoughts though, thank you.

I almost mistook the swimmer for a rock with waves breaking around it. Then I took in the title and the arm. It's a lovely shot with great light on the water. Like the sky too and the PiP. Edinburgh looks a mere step away compared to Vancouver.

I have one shot with his arm in the air and it looks like Nessie is emerging from the sea! I would have used that shot if it hadn't been a little blurred. Thank you for your kind comments.

Goodness, I'd never have ventured into the water;-) Amazing that there are still cruise ships around, probably just cruising and not allowed in port...

Nor me Gudrun!! There were 10 cruise ships and there are more in Weymouth Bay. They have been there for months.
