because this was so near to the Shrewsbury photos, I thought at first that you'd found somewhere else in town that I'd never seen, Rosa! I spend a few seconds wondering where this part of the cathedral corner this was. ;-)

Nice to see this 'modern' view of the gate from the High Street, I found one similar, but from further back, in some old family photographs dating from around the 1930s. (here if you want a look: High Street Wells)
