cityscape shadow
Not intended as a diptych at first, still unsure. See the single images below in comments (and on their own page).
Let me know which version you like best (if you like them at all)!
[EDIT: Love love love that so many of you are chiming in with what you think! I will reply to all after I finish checking out and commenting on all the wonderful World Photography Day event photos!]
---------------------------------------------------------------------
[MORE EDIT: Here's the current count on your choices between the options of diptych, A or B
Diptych: 8 votes
A (black and white): 1 vote
B (sepia-ish): 2 votes
Can't or won't choose: 8 non-votes
This makes me laugh - apparently a large portion of ipernity users don't like stating a preference for anything! Many people wouldn't even say what photographer they enjoy/admire for World Photography Day - and here, just as many people voted for the diptych as couldn't decide or chose not to even think about it.
The funny part is that one reason I asked for other peoples opinion is because I couldn't pick! So I join that crowd.
My husband, who has a lot of sway with me, voted for B, the sepia-ish version. He is a very decisive person in general. I continue to go back and forth, though I agree with a few people here that B stands well on its own, but that the diptych adds something. I'm going to bring it down to if I decide to show this in print somewhere, looking at prints will make it possible to decide!
Thank to everyone who has voiced their opinion, be it a vote or non-decision just liking the photos.

raingirl club has replied to David Michael clubraingirl club has replied to William Sutherland clubI do think they each have a different feel and how can one feeling be better than another, thus I might be leaning toward the diptych.

raingirl club has replied to menonfire clubI'm starting to think that the sepia is the way I am going to go for a print. But I suppose once it's printed I will see if it needs the b&w version next to it or not - I think it will depend on how the color on the print looks, always never exactly the same as on my screen.
