Saturday Self-Challenge – theme 22.02.20: "dramatic picture"

The winter here in Bern was much too warm until now. In there were only 4 frost days (days below 0°C/32°F) in January. The statistical average of the last 30 years is about 20 days!
Now, in the middle of February it was partly so warm that I already saw bees at work!
The picture above I took this week when I was on my first bike ride this year. Dramatic weather. Right before a heavy shower. Dramatic weather creates dramatic pictures! ;-)

Because of the different time zone I have already attached the picture to the group. :-)

Karen, thank you very much!
Well, to be honest, it was about 1 hour before; But I had to go to bed early, because I was away for the whole weekend. :-)

Lucky you... about the shower I mean, we do need water here, everything is thirsty, we will soon enter the dry season and no rain forecasted...
Great photo indeed.

Xata, yes, we live in Switzerland in a very privileged region. With the Alps and its glaciers we have the water reservoir for half of Europe.
Thank you very much!

Hier ist es genau dasselbe! In Deinem Bild liebe ich den Baum, der dem Wetter trotzt.

les nuages noirs et l' arbre isolé accentuent le côté dramatique de la photo , mais je vois dans le lointain, pointer une embellie !

Yes, climate change is in full bloom! It will be *interesting* to see how it all plays out ...
Meanwhile, a fine landscape image, especially seen large.

Sarah, thanks a lot!
Yes, I think there will be massive changes! Even in fields we are not even thinking about yet.
