Boa, die schraubt sich aber auch steil hoch! Tolle Aussicht im PiP.

Gudrun, es gibt steilere, z.B. die => neue Stossbahn mit bis zu 110%. Aber mit bis zu 25% ist die Brienz Rothornbahn auch schon recht steil. Dafür ist das Erlebnis in den offenen Waggons und der Dampflok ziemlich eindrücklich :)

Karen, not at all! It is too slow to be a thrill. It travels at a maximum speed of 5,6 miles/h :-)

Falk, ja, an der steilsten Stelle bis 25% Steigung.
Aber die steilste Zahnradbahn, mit bis zu 48% Steigung, ist die Pilatusbahn.
Und die steilste Standseilbahn ist die 2017 eröffnete Stoos-Bahn. An der steilsten Stelle beträgt die Steigung 110%. Und dank einer ausgeklügelten Technik, steht der Kabinenboden immer waagrecht.
