It's possible to descend steps to get down river level for a closer look at the Tall Ships (well, the few that were present on my visit - a few more did turn up). That's a river bus arriving from Woolwich for a trip up to Central London

In the grounds of the Old Royal Naval College there was a small shoal of these brown fish in addition to the red and yellow ones.

A lot of building work around the old power station now. The chimneys will start to come down soon - the developers are promising to replace them.
