You can make out the succession of hairpins carving their way up the hillside. I didn't have to go this way; Wrynose Pass, though, was pretty hairy in its own way.

My favourite photographer tells me that this effect is called "zoom burst". Not as good as recent efforts with graffiti, but just about ok.

It was a rainy afternoon, but you can see how good the autumn colours are looking. I should probably return on a sunny day.

It had been a rainy morning, so the constant drip-drip-drip in the dilapidated old space just added to the decaying atmosphere. Well worth a visit during the Brighton Photo Biennial (or any other time it may be open)
