I read that this coast loses on average 2 metres of land per year. The chances are this fence will be gone in less than six months.

All the same, HFF to everyone (whilst the fence is still there). Have a great and glorious weekend.

More likely to float to Norway, John. I've just been in England for my mum's 90th birthday; I had hoped to get to Skipsea to see whether the fence was still there but never made it unfortunately. Maybe next time ...

Perhaps it is gone now, Christa. I haven't been back there for three years and I doubt if I'll manage to get back to England for a long, long time. However I promise to check when I do. Thanks for your visit and comments.
