At the beginning of "Happy Go Lucky," Poppy (Sally Hawkins) rides her bicycle across Blackfriars Bridge, locks it to a railing and walks into Lower Marsh from Granby Place. She goes into Crockatt and Powell Books (dark red trim) on the right. Alas, the bookstore was having a going out of business sale when I was there.

Scootercaffe, formerly a scooter shop (Scooterworks, which relocated in Bermondsey) and coffee bar with a resident cat. Now it's just a caff with a cat. Lower Marsh Street.
